The 3-species scoter flock (now ca. 21 strong) was back at the West side of Biscay Bay at 5 p.m. today. There were at least 5 Blacks (4 female and 1 male that 'disappeared' after I first saw it); at least 5 male Surfs; and at least 7 White-wingeds (mostly female-type); plus 1 Greater Scaup. A dark Merlin (seen twice today) is hanging around PCS beach.
